Have you ever experienced vaginitis, also called women's cold?
There may be some people without experience, but usually, incorrect lifestyle habits are repeated.
It is one of the common illnesses that can occur if hygiene is poorly maintained, or if immunity is weakened and stress is present.
For those who have frequently suffered from vaginitis, those currently experiencing vaginitis, and those who have never had vaginitis but want to prevent it in the future.
Sharing tips on how to prevent and manage vaginitis in daily life!!
I tend to experience frequent recurrences of vaginitis.
I recently visited the obstetrics and gynecology department for management purposes ^^
What is vaginitis?
A disease characterized by inflammation of the vagina, which connects the uterus and the vulva.
Types and Symptoms of Vaginitis
There are various types of vaginitis, so the symptoms also vary.
The symptoms of common vaginal infections typically appear like this.
* Increased vaginal discharge
Vulvar itching
Swelling of the vulva
* Odor
* Burning sensation
Pain during urination
Causes of vaginitis
Mismanaged in an unsanitary manner
Holding in urine
Irregular sleep patterns
Weakened immunity
Frequent stress
Due to these issues
This is a condition that occurs when the vaginal environment changes from acidic to alkaline, weakening resistance to bacteria.
If left untreated for a long time, it can lead to pelvic pain and complications from infertility, so you must be careful.
Now, I want to understand why I developed vaginitis.
How did you treat vaginitis?
I will now share how we are managing it in detail!!
< Reasons for Developing Vaginitis >
I usually get home well past 10 PM because I leave work late.
My sleep time automatically got delayed, and I even suffered from insomnia.
Because I go to bed late and have to go to work in the morning, I end up waking up early.
My daily rhythm was gradually falling apart.
And then, stress is added on top of sleep deprivation.
Your immune system has completely weakened.
Also, since I work in service, when I respond to customers, I
I can't go even if I really need to use the bathroom.
During customer service, there has been an increase in cases where customers hold their urine.
Eventually, it manifested as abnormal changes in the body.
It tends to become a persistent condition called vaginitis.
< The days I suffered from Candida and bacterial vaginosis >
Due to these complex problems, I always had to live with vaginitis ㅠㅠ
I experienced alternating episodes of candidiasis vaginitis and bacterial vaginitis.
I usually suffered a lot from candidiasis vaginitis.
When standing or sitting with legs crossed
It caused itching as it touched the underwear and skin.
It also smelled bad.
Even though I used it as a cleansing agent and washed thoroughly, the smell was still immediate.
So I was always busy carrying body mist and perfume in my bag.
And the most serious thing is, when the itching reaches its peak.
Really, I haven't told a single lie.
It was so itchy that I couldn't stand still or sit down.
If you feel itchy inside the house, you can take a shower.
There's really no answer when you're out or at work dealing with customers and you feel itchy.
Because it was so itchy, I tried all sorts of positions, even hitting that spot and testing with something cold.
I've tried everything, but the itching symptoms didn't improve.
On the contrary, I also got hurt by hitting, wiping with a wet tissue, and scratching.
It swelled up more severely, so it was painful and burning when I urinated ㅠㅠ
I always used a cleansing agent when washing.
Even when using the cleansing agent, there was no improvement at all.
Unable to neglect any longer, visited the obstetrics and gynecology department
I tried using the cleansing agent and also made an effort to go to bed early.
The fundamental problem has not been resolved.
My daily rhythm is already disrupted, so it wasn't easy to fix it all at once.
Eventually, I visited the obstetrics and gynecology clinic after much consideration.
I went and had various tests done and was told the result was candidiasis vaginitis.
Please disinfect inside and take good care of your condition.
You received an antibiotic injection and were prescribed medication.
I also quit my job.
My vaginitis was so severe that I couldn't work in this itchy condition.
I rested that way and received treatment for three months, managing my condition as best as I could.
They were keeping it clean and also managing stress.
The itching symptoms and foul odor disappeared as if it were a complete lie.
Why didn't I get treatment earlier?
Why did I hold back???? If only I had come to the gynecology clinic earlier for treatment.
You didn't have to go through such pain...
So, I was experiencing a new world for about six months and going about my daily life like everyone else.
But!!!!!
It wasn't the end here...
Treatment received at the obstetrics and gynecology department is only temporary.
Starting work again
Due to frequent overtime work, stress, and the recurring irregular sleep patterns again
The vaginitis has recurred againㅠㅠ
Vaginitis is like a cold for women, as I mentioned, right???
Still exposed to stress
Now, they neglect proper care, claiming they no longer feel itchy.
Since I keep the habit of staying up late because I think habits are scary
My relationship with vaginitis has started again... (How did I treat it... and now it's recurringㅠㅠ It was really difficult.)
Vaginal inflammation requires consistent management - Prevention and care methods for vaginal inflammation
Based on my experiences so far, I will try to write.
An environment that is prone to exposure to vaginitis, and
Because I was someone who often got sick due to weakened immunity.
I'm really sensitive about yeast infections and, as a result, I pay a lot of attention to them.
It may be such an obvious method, but
It may look easy to protect, but it's actually quite difficult.
Drying after the first shower
I have been taking a shower, roughly drying off with a towel, and then putting on underwear immediately.
But be aware that this can cause it to become damp due to moisture!!
When it becomes humid, bacteria can easily multiply and you may be exposed to vaginitis.
You should thoroughly remove moisture and dry off after showering before putting on underwear.
If you keep consistently applying it, you will notice a significant improvement in your itching.
Wear the second underwear or bottoms that are well-ventilated.
Women usually wear triangle panties.
I have only experienced triangle panties, so I have only worn those continuously.
By the way, I heard that trunk panties are good for yeast infections.
There are various types of trunk panties, but among them, there are trunk panties made of cotton material.
There is a misconception that trunk panties are only for men, but I bought them for vaginal inflammation.
I can't wear it while working, but after returning home and taking a shower, I live wearing trunk underwear.
Above all, since it doesn't fit tightly and has good ventilation, I don't have to worry about moisture, which is great^^
Reduce the use of third female intimate wash, body wash, and panty liners
I thought that using feminine hygiene products would naturally alleviate vaginitis because it's vaginitis.
But that's not the case; in fact, using feminine hygiene products frequently can
The vaginal pH has broken down, making it impossible to maintain an appropriate acidic environment, which worsens the symptoms of vaginitis.
If you have been using cleansers frequently, it is recommended to significantly reduce or stop using them.
Eventually, I stopped using the cleanser, and as a result, the swelling and itching greatly improved.
It's better to reduce the use of body wash and rinse with water as much as possible.
Rinsing with water may not leave a scent and can feel a bit uncomfortable, but still, synthetic fragrances do not come into contact with the body.
I definitely started to feel that the itching sensation was getting better!!
Additionally, one of the symptoms of vaginitis is a sudden increase in discharge.
I have been using panty liners so that my discharge doesn't stain my underwear, but I found out they are toxic.
Gout worsens, and bacteria are said to proliferate in the discharge on the panty liner.
I have a lot of panty liners at home, but I eventually decided to throw them all away.
Now that I think about it, I think I felt more itchy and stinging when I used panty liners.
Reducing the use of panty liners can really help with symptoms of vaginitis.^^
Using a showerhead with low water pressure for the fourth time
If you are experiencing vaginitis, it is recommended to use a showerhead with gentle water pressure.
I always took showers with high water pressure.
But I heard that this actually irritates the skin and makes it more sensitive.
So now, even if it takes longer to wash, I set the water pressure low and rinse it off.
Perhaps because there was less stimulation, I felt my symptoms improve.
Thoroughly manage stress and immunity on the fifth day, and ensure sufficient sleep time.
Everyone experiences stress.
Depending on whether you can properly resolve it or just accumulate it
Different people have different reactions to the medication.
In my case, I am a body vulnerable to stress, and it manifested as a condition called vaginitis.
They say, what should I do to manage stress~ But.. managing stress immunity isn't easy, is it?
Still, I am trying because I don't want to go through the disease called vaginitis again.
I have started exercising again.
I had been lazy and my body had become overweight, so I took a break from exercising for a while.
I have restarted walking exercise and night running.
I am managing stress by running while listening to exciting music.
When I return home, I relax my mind by engaging in my favorite hobbies.
I'm trying to go to bed earlier again.
Originally, I would stay up until 3 a.m. looking at my phone or go to sleep.
Even at an early hour, I used to go to bed between 1 and 2 a.m.
Lately, I really try to put my phone down and go to bed between 12 and 1 o'clock.
I am gradually trying to go to bed earlier.
Just quickly exercise after work, then shower and go to bed immediately.
I'm trying to develop that habit^^
Certainly, I felt better the next day and noticed a decrease in secretions after sleeping early^^
When you have vaginitis, it's best to avoid high-sugar fruits, candies, and sweet foods.
The area where harmful bacteria in the vagina can become active is when sugars enter the body.
They say they are going to be more active!!
Please avoid foods high in sugar!!!!!
Sixth dose of vaginal probiotic intake
I used to think that probiotics were only taken for gut health.
There are separate vaginal probiotics^^
I looked for reviews and chose this product, and I think it suits me well!!
Consistently taking vaginal probiotics can help promote the growth of beneficial bacteria in the vagina, aiding in the prevention and treatment of infections.
I've been taking it consistently, and I can feel that the itching and discharge are being controlled, so I plan to continue taking it regularly from now on^^
If you have even the slightest symptoms, seek treatment and undergo regular check-ups.
It's such an obvious method, but
Why didn't I do that obvious thing?
Please don't neglect it like I did, others.
If you feel even a slight symptom, please visit the hospital for an examination and appropriate treatment. Absolutely.
I neglected it and only went to the hospital later for treatment, so the vaginitis... was truly a hellish memory.
You must not become complacent and think that your skin is no longer itchy just because you have received treatment.
Whenever my body weakens, vaginitis tends to recur.
Visiting regularly to check if the condition is okay,
Even if exposed to vaginitis, cases like candidiasis vaginitis can sometimes be asymptomatic depending on the situation.
So, regularly checking my vaginal health through routine examinations can be considered prevention and management!
The photo above shows the medication I received a prescription for after visiting the obstetrics and gynecology department recently^^
I received topical medication, suppositories, and oral medication.
I immediately get signals when I feel stressed or when fatigue accumulates.
(Discharge increase + itching + foul odor)
So, I described my symptoms and got some medication.
Currently, since the symptoms have disappeared after taking medication, you can stop the medication.
Still, to avoid complacency, the seven methods I mentioned above!!
I'm trying to keep everything all together^^
In the past, the interval between recovery and recurrence of vaginitis was really short.
It was a time when I struggled with frequent vaginitis.
However, because I carefully managed it using the above method
I definitely feel that the interval between relapses has become longer.
Discharge has decreased and there is almost no smell.
Is itching really caused by severe stress?
It almost doesn't itch, so I think I'll survive^^
Have you often suffered from vaginitis, or
Currently going through a difficult time due to vaginitis, or
To help those who have never had vaginitis but want to prevent it
It may seem obvious, but these are ways to follow in daily life.
I shared a subtly difficult method to stick to^^
So that I never have a relationship with vaginitis again in the future, and can abstain for a lifetime!!!!
I will continue to manage consistently and share any good methods I discover^^
If anyone has experienced this and has other good management methods, I would appreciate it if you could share them!!
