I am visiting Women Plus Obstetrics and Gynecology due to fibroids.
I don't usually have menstrual cramps, but one day, my cramps suddenly got worse.
Even when I wasn't menstruating, I felt like my uterus hurt.
I visited the Women Plus Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic in Jowon-dong, Suwon.
The original teacher in charge was there, but he resigned, so unfortunately I was assigned a different teacher.
I still feel uncomfortable with male teachers, so I prefer female teachers.
There are female teachers here, so I always feel less pressured.
After undergoing several checkups and an ultrasound, they said that I had quite a bit of fibroids.
Additionally, some of them are close to the fallopian tubes, so he said that's why they're painful.
Since I hadn't given birth yet and was too young to have surgery, they suggested that we try medication.
I am taking Bijanjeong, which requires a doctor's prescription.
I think it's been about 7 months since I started taking it.
Although Bijanjeong is a drug that prevents fibroids from growing any larger, it seems to have more side effects than expected.
In my case, I had irregular bleeding several times.
But since there is no other way right now, I plan to take it for now, stop taking it for a while after about a year, and then start taking it again.
Women Plus Obstetrics and Gynecology used to have a doctor who was really good at examining patients, but after he left the company, it seems like a hospital I only visit when I really need something urgent ^^;
Please note that there may be a wait in the morning, so we recommend visiting early in the morning~~!
