Due to scoliosis, I underwent focused treatment for two weeks in the hospital, including manual therapy, chiropractic adjustments, and acupuncture, leading to increased pressure on the cervical intervertebral discs. Of course, manual therapy was the primary treatment, and on the first day of receiving it, I experienced pain as if I had the flu because of my misaligned spine. The areas that need correction feel painful, while the adjusted areas feel relieved. Before discharge, the doctor explained the differences in the X-rays taken before and after hospitalization, as well as future management points and exercise methods. When comparing before and after, the dramatically curved sections didn’t straighten out completely; instead, the focus was on achieving some balance to alleviate the load on the painful areas. The price is high!!!

I started receiving manual therapy from Dr. Kim Hyung-min at the Daegu branch of Libom Korean Medicine Hospital because I just couldn't take it anymore. At first, I thought it was just fatigue, but at some point, I realized that sitting was painful and standing was uncomfortable, making my daily life really tough. Especially in the mornings, my back felt so stiff that I had to move around for a while just to feel loosened up. That's when I thought, 'I really need to get treatment.'

I visited Daegu Ribom Korean Medicine Hospital because I often experience severe lower abdominal pain and back pain before and after my period. The pain during menstruation made daily life uncomfortable, and I felt the need for management since my body becomes easily fatigued. During the consultation, the staff asked detailed questions about my menstrual cycle, the degree of pain, and my overall condition, which allowed me to explain my current state thoroughly. While receiving acupuncture and Korean medicine tailored to my constitution, I noticed a slight relief from the heavy pain I typically felt during my period. After the treatment, my body felt significantly lighter, and my condition was more stable than before. However, depending on the time of my visit, the waiting period could be a bit long, and since the hospital is relatively large, I was a little confused about moving around inside at first. Overall, I felt it was a good place to consistently manage the discomfort caused by menstruation.
