Due to scoliosis, I underwent focused treatment for two weeks in the hospital, including manual therapy, chiropractic adjustments, and acupuncture, leading to increased pressure on the cervical intervertebral discs. Of course, manual therapy was the primary treatment, and on the first day of receiving it, I experienced pain as if I had the flu because of my misaligned spine. The areas that need correction feel painful, while the adjusted areas feel relieved. Before discharge, the doctor explained the differences in the X-rays taken before and after hospitalization, as well as future management points and exercise methods. When comparing before and after, the dramatically curved sections didn’t straighten out completely; instead, the focus was on achieving some balance to alleviate the load on the painful areas. The price is high!!!
