Dental Implant

How the Treatment Works

This method places and fixes an artificial root in the jawbone where a tooth is missing.

After it integrates well with the bone, an abutment and prosthetic restoration are attached to restore tooth function.

Procedure

After checking the condition of the teeth, gums, and jawbone, a treatment plan is established.

If necessary, extraction or bone grafting consultation may also be performed.

The process proceeds from implant placement to a healing period, followed by attachment of the prosthetic restoration.

Post-procedure Care

In the early stage, swelling, pain, and bleeding may occur, so caution is needed.

It is recommended to avoid excessive chewing, smoking, and alcohol right after surgery.

Follow the guidance for oral hygiene, dietary instructions, and prescribed medications.

Recommended For

For those considering restoring chewing function, speech, or aesthetics due to tooth loss

For those who want fixed prosthetics rather than dentures

For those who want to minimize the removal of surrounding teeth

For those missing one or multiple teeth who need suitability evaluation

Precautions

Consultation is necessary, as the treatment plan and duration may vary depending on the amount of gum bone, the presence of periodontal disease, underlying systemic conditions, smoking, and medications being taken.

Before surgery, be sure to inform us if you are taking anticoagulants, how well your diabetes is controlled, and whether you are taking osteoporosis medications.

If pain, swelling, or bleeding worsens progressively, or if infection is suspected, prompt medical attention is required.

You must follow the oral hygiene and dietary instructions provided after surgery.
