Consistent prevention and early detection are important for prostate enlargement.

Anyone who is male may have concerns about prostate enlargement.
Although it is a disease that many people develop as they age, it is possible to prevent or delay it as much as possible through consistent diet management and exercise.
I regularly undergo ultrasound examinations related to prostate enlargement through proper habits, and so far there have been no significant abnormalities, which I am very relieved about.

 

Benign prostatic hyperplasia is a condition that primarily affects men over the age of 40, where the prostate enlarges and compresses the urethra, causing symptoms such as residual urine sensation and frequent urination, and in severe cases, it can lead to blood in the urine.
The cause of benign prostatic hyperplasia is known to be related to changes in male hormones, but the exact cause has not yet been identified. Statistically, benign prostatic hyperplasia occurs in almost all men over the age of 70.
In severe cases, treatment can be achieved through hormone therapy or surgery, but above all, it is most important to prevent the disease early through proper habits in daily life and to delay the onset as much as possible.
It is known that to prevent prostate enlargement, it is good to walk for at least 30 minutes a day or engage in other light aerobic exercises, and it is preferable to increase standing time rather than sitting for extended periods.

And of course, it is recommended to avoid alcohol and smoking, and in terms of diet, it is best to limit meat consumption and combine small meals with vegetarian foods, as this can significantly help lower body fat levels and prevent prostate enlargement.

Lastly, I believe it is important to check early before benign prostatic hyperplasia develops.
I also make sure to include a prostate ultrasound every 3 to 4 years during my health checkups to check for prostate enlargement, and so far there have been no major issues, which I consider very fortunate.

    저도 항상 소변때문에 새벽에 깨서 힘들어서 물을 많이 먹지 않았더니 그나마 괜찮았는데 물을 먹는게 아무래도 건강에 좋기 때문에 먹었더니 다시 또 그러네요.... 그래서 비뇨기과 한번 가보려고 해도 솔직히 겁나네요.... 주변 직원이 전립선 검사하는게 조금 그렇다고도 해서 걱정도 되구요... 근데 1년전 초음파에서는 괜찮다고 했거든요... 운동 열심히 해보고 경과 좀 지켜봐야 겠네요~~
