Obstetrics and gynecology instead of urology?

Women often feel hesitant about going to obstetrics and gynecology because there are surprisingly many female doctors.

Many patients also visit the urology department for bladder-related or gynecological conditions.

 

I have a family history of kidney problems, and I actually once nearly died from acute pyelonephritis and survived; I have that memory.

I am naturally prone to swelling.

They say that even with kidney problems, swelling can occur easily.

I haven't been swollen much lately after dieting for a while, losing some weight, and drinking plenty of water...

Recently, the swelling has worsened again.

 

Waking up and having a swollen face or hands is a daily occurrence.

After arriving at work and working, by the time I leave, my feet and calves swell so much that my shoes no longer fit.

 

There could be various causes for swelling, but I'm worried that it might be due to kidney problems causing the swelling...

Can kidney problems be detected through a urine test in urology?

Ultrasound examinations are also available in the urology department, right?
