My experience with DIY teeth whitening: only white spots remained, and it was a total failure
Sharing my experience of failing completely after trying teeth whitening at home on my own, in hopes of helping those interested in teeth whitening and considering doing it themselves.
I used to be a coffee addict who drank up to three cups of coffee a day. Perhaps because of that, my teeth suddenly appeared to turn yellow, and I thought I couldn't go on like this, so I decided to try whitening at home with a product I came across while shopping online.
There was a time when products claiming to whiten teeth by attaching them were popular. I remember that products which only stuck to the teeth had minimal effects and took a long time.
This product contains an ampoule that provides a boosting effect, making it possible to achieve effective whitening in a short period, and I thought this was the one.
The package includes an ampoule, a strip to cover the teeth after applying the ampoule, and a diagnostic chart to check the tooth color.
The tooth color ranges from 1 to 16, and I imagine it becoming as white as color 1.
Cliden becomes effective from the 3rd, and using it for 5 days can result in a teeth whitening effect that makes your teeth two shades brighter.
A teeth whitening agent that uses widely used and effective ingredients for teeth whitening, also described as a teeth whitening product that whitens teeth without gum or tooth damage, allowing you to achieve white teeth without damage in just five days. With high hopes and dreams, I took out the ampoule, applied it to my teeth, and then attached the strip.
It was okay until the first three days. Since my teeth didn't turn extremely white, I thought maybe I should stop, but I decided to try until the fifth day, so I applied the ampoule on the fourth day. I had more ampoule left than I expected, so I applied it generously. That seems to have been the problem.
About an hour later, I felt a tooth sensitivity, so I applied the ampoule...
There were huge white spots on my teeth!!!
I really developed white spots on my front teeth to this extent, and when I looked it up, I found the condition called "spotty teeth."
It is also called white cavity staining and refers to teeth with white or brown spots on the surface of the tooth.
White spots can also form when you drink beverages with high fluoride content or use excessive amounts of fluoride toothpaste. This occurs because overexposure to fluoride causes it to penetrate beneath the enamel into the dentin, preventing the enamel from forming properly.

There are other causes, but in my case, I think excessive exposure to fluoride might be the reason. I could get treatment at the hospital, but I felt so upset and wondered what I was doing for four days, and it was such a disappointing ending.
I decided I should go to the hospital the next day, so I woke up.
The white spots that had severely settled on my front teeth like a lie have disappeared. Since only a small part remains on the adjacent tooth of the front teeth, I think I will just have to live with that.
Fortunately, it was a temporary phenomenon, and I think it was also because I used a large amount of the ampoule at once. I realized that I need to control the amount myself and that spreading it thinly is difficult, so I understood that self-teeth whitening is not something I should do.
If you're thinking about teeth whitening, just go to the dentist!
Trying to save a little might lead to a bigger loss.
Procedures performed at the hospital, compared to self-administered ones, at least have fewer side effects.
I think it might be less.
I applied the ampoule for four days, so I guess there was some effect, but it was minimal, so I can't really say it resulted in whitening.
Self teeth whitening left me with only white spots..
This is a review of a self-bleaching failure that only left scars. For those considering teeth whitening at home by themselves.
I hope it was of some help.
