Do you perform skin laser treatments for pigmentation and melasma?

There are about 2mm age spots on the cheekbones that look like liver spots in the elderly. Actually, I'm not sure if I should call them age spots. They seem to be pigmentation, but they are noticeable even when covered with concealer. I heard that skin laser treatment can remove age spots; would it be effective? I'm also worried that it might cause damage instead. I suppose multiple treatments would be necessary.

I initially thought there was nothing I could do, but after seeing Cashdoc, I'm becoming interested. I'm curious if anyone who has received skin laser treatments would recommend it.
