스팀타월.. 좋긴 한데 좀 귀찮아요 ㅎ
Lee Hye-won (45), a former Miss Korea and wife of former soccer player Ahn Jung-hwan, introduced her skin care method for the changing seasons.
On the 4th, a video titled 'Lee Hye-won's unique abundant hair & makeup tips, from seasonal skin care methods to seasonal tips!' was uploaded to the YouTube channel '2nd Hye-won'.
In the video, Lee Hye-won was asked how she manages her skin, which tends to flip during the changing seasons. "When the seasons change, my skin loses moisture first, and oil builds up, disrupting my oil-water balance," she said. "At times like this, I apply a lot of ampoule, but if my pores aren't clear, the ampoule won't be absorbed." She emphasized the importance of clearing pores before applying the ampoule.
Lee Hye-won “A simple way to do this is to soak a soft towel in water, put it in a plastic bag, and microwave it for about 2 minutes. "It acts as a steamer like those used in spas, opening up the pores," he said. "Then, if you wipe it with the end of a towel, the waste products in the pores will come out."
"In addition to using a steam towel, taking a hot shower to open your pores and then using a cleanser is also good," Lee Hye-won said. "There's definitely a difference between doing it and not doing it." Lee also recommended half-body baths. "I do them about five times a week," she said. "They relax my muscles and are excellent for pore management during seasonal changes like these." What are the actual effects of the skin care methods Lee Hye-won recommends?
◇Steam towel
To maintain moist skin during the changing seasons, using a steam towel can be helpful. You can easily make one by soaking a towel in water and heating it in the microwave for 30 seconds to two minutes. Instead of rubbing your face, simply place the towel gently on your face and remove it once it has cooled. This will soften dead skin cells, making it easier to exfoliate and effectively removing impurities from pores.
Using the steam from the shower head can also help manage pores. However, prolonged showers with hot water can be damaging to your skin. The pressure of the water from the shower head can damage your skin. Furthermore, the hot water temperature can also pose a threat to skin health. Prolonged exposure to hot water can strip away excess oil, disrupting the oil-moisture balance and damaging the skin barrier. It can also dilate capillaries, causing or worsening facial flushing. Therefore, for your skin's sake, instead of washing your face directly from the shower, fill the sink with lukewarm water and gently rub your face.
◇Half-body bath
A half-body bath, where only the lower body is immersed in warm water, is known to be effective for skin care. Indeed, the warm water in a half-body bath opens pores, helping to remove impurities and toxins from the skin. Furthermore, as the body warms, muscle tension is relieved, blood circulation improves, and swelling is reduced. However, staying in water that is too hot for too long can lead to excessive sweating, which can actually lead to dehydration. Therefore, the water temperature should be slightly higher than body temperature, around 38-40 degrees Celsius, and the duration of a half-body bath should be limited to 20-30 minutes.

I think the steam towel tip is good
After opening the pores with a hot towel
It would be more helpful if you applied it with an ampoule.
