It has been found that foam cleansers sold domestically have limitations in thoroughly removing sunscreen left on the skin.

The Korea Consumer Agency announced on the 19th the results of an investigation into the cleansing performance and consumer satisfaction of 10 foam cleansers currently on the market. The cleansing performance was categorized as 'Excellent, Good, Average,' and consumer satisfaction was rated on a scale of 1 to 5 points.

According to the analysis, all ten products received an 'Excellent' rating for their ability to remove cleansing oil. However, in terms of removing sunscreen, five products were rated 'Good,' while the remaining five products were rated 'Average.'

Products that received a good condition rating include Witch Factory Deep Pore Cleansing Soda Foam (Brand: Witch Factory), CNP Perfect Whip Facial Wash A (Fine Today Korea), H.C.C Prep Reset Cleansing Foam (Caver Korea), Innisfree Volcanic Ash BHA Pore Cleansing Foam (Innisfree), and Happy Bath Micro Micerlla Deep Cleansing Foam (Amorepacific).

The safety test, which checked for the presence of 11 preservative ingredients including phenoxyethanol that are restricted in cosmetics and 6 harmful heavy metals to the human body, found no significant issues.

In a customer satisfaction survey where consumers directly evaluated items such as foam generation amount, rinsing ability, residual sensation immediately after rinsing, softness and moisture after use, and skin tightness, scores ranged from a minimum of 3.1 to a maximum of 3.8, indicating variability among products. The product with the highest satisfaction was Witch Factory Deep Pore Cleansing Soda Foam.

The price difference between products was found to be approximately double based on the consumer prices in May of this year. Nature Republic's Snail Solution Foam Cleanser (Nature Republic) was the cheapest at 667 won per 10mL, while Myeonggong Factory's Deep Pore Cleansing Soda Foam was the most expensive at 1,333 won.

The Consumer Agency selected three products as cost-effective based on price and performance: Happy Bath Micro Micellar Deep Cleansing Foam, Cica Perfect Whip Pation Wash A, and Innisfree Volcanic Sion BHA Pore Cleansing Foam.

The three products—Witch Factory Deep Pore Cleansing Soda Foam, Nature Republic Snail Solution Foam Cleanser, and Jeju Volcanic Ash Anti-Dust Pore Cleansing Foam (LG Household & Health Care)—were classified as products with high overall consumer satisfaction, including user experience.

The detailed information of this exam evaluation will be provided in the 'Comparison Empathy' section within Consumer24.

=========

They promote it a lot as deep cleansing.

Is it actually not being cleaned well?

I need to check the test evaluation later with Consumer 24.

    자외선 차단제 바르면 오일로 한번 닦아내고 폼클렌징으로 이중 세안해야 한다고 요즘 뉴스에 나오더라는.. 역시 화장은 하는 것 보다 지우는 것이 중요하다는~
