After paying 1.4 million won, I suffered sexual shame and even a failed procedure. I highly recommend it.
To improve my nasolabial folds and jawline, I paid 1.4 million won (Dual 2-course) for 24 procedures: 4 PCL lines and 20 Concentina lines. However, during the pre-procedure design process, I experienced extremely unpleasant and inappropriate physical contact from the doctor. The procedure didn't make any difference, and the hospital's response was irresponsible, so I'm leaving this review for the public good.
1. Inappropriate physical contact: When I was designing, the doctor pulled my legs so close to his genital area between my lower legs while I was sitting on the bed. It was incredibly uncomfortable and humiliating. I was already feeling uneasy before the procedure, but I had already paid for it, so I held back.
2. Design and vector errors: If you look at the marking photos I quickly drew less than a minute before the procedure, you can see that the thread is not pulling the nasolabial folds, but is only directed under the chin. As a result, the nasolabial fold area has not improved at all, and the chin area has not changed either. My opinion was not taken into consideration at all during the design process, and in an extremely authoritarian manner, my opinion was dismissed with absurd statements such as, "Dimples age you! If you don't have dimples, you won't have wrinkles! If you don't have wrinkles, you'll live a long life!"
3. Suspicion of thread count (quantity): When I looked at the prepared threads right before the procedure, there were only about 15, not 24. When I asked the long-haired therapist who consulted me—or perhaps the nurse?—I received the absurd response, "It's because the threads are short."
4. Hygiene: The practice was poorly managed, with the thread being placed on a reused towel instead of a sterile area. Furthermore, the director's gown, which had not been washed, was covered in black, unwashed bloodstains.
5. Procedure process and aftercare: Even though I informed them that I was going abroad, and it was clear that the procedure itself was not performed regardless of the swelling after the procedure, they only made excuses like, "Wait a month," "That's because I didn't get filler," and "You'll still need filler when you come back." Now, they are consistently ignoring me even after reading my KakaoTalk messages. I originally wanted to get a lifting procedure with thread lifting, not to fill in the areas of concern with fillers. The director in question never intended to improve the nasolabial fold area that was promised with thread lifting from the beginning, and he resented me for not adding nasolabial fold filler. He was extremely rude and unfriendly throughout the procedure, asking why I didn't get nasolabial fold filler and saying that I should have gotten filler from him with the money I would have received for iris filler somewhere else. It was so bad that the director who consulted with me even asked me to make a comment to prevent the director from getting upset when I said that filler was too expensive at this hospital and that I would get it done somewhere else, saying, "Then tell the director that you will get filler next time. He will definitely tell you to get filler as well." Also, even though I was under anesthesia, I felt severe pain, but I couldn't make a sound and endured the pain for fear of upsetting the grumpy doctor and interfering with the procedure. However, the director got annoyed with me, saying, "Hey, why are you so tense~~! What hurts?" So, in an attempt to calm him down, I replied, "Yes, doctor, I'll take deep breaths." But the doctor got angry and said, "Hey, lift your head! Why do you keep lowering your head~~?!" His unprofessional attitude and remarks made me feel even more scared as I was in pain.
From the beginning, I should have been more cautious, given the hospital's strange atmosphere and the director's bizarre behavior and remarks. I regret being fooled by the deceptive marketing campaign that offered "4 PCL lines + 20 Concentina lines for 1.4 million won." Upon closer inspection of the review photos, I noticed that most of them had been crudely Photoshopped.
I returned to Korea after three years and wanted to get a thread lift during my vacation, but I missed that opportunity. I hope no one else will have to spend a lot of money, waste time, and suffer like I did. I'm currently filing a complaint with the Consumer Protection Agency. Please choose carefully.
