I do not recommend Chaon Dental Clinic. The information below is based on my personal experience with treatment.
At the time of consultation, I was told that the treatment would be completed in 24 months, but even though I visited the clinic without fail every month, it took about 8 more months. It was difficult to understand why the same monthly fee was charged for simple treatment, and there was no special consideration for the situation where I had to visit the clinic again because the tooth extraction did not work out the first time. (They even reduced the monthly fee by one month due to the extraction problem.) It is also disappointing that they said that the failed tooth extraction did not constitute a medical accident. At the time, my tooth was shaking several times and would not come out, so I stopped and even took medication, but I wonder if this was nothing serious. At the time, I was very scared, and I experienced gum pain and a headache due to the failed tooth extraction.
Even after receiving an apology for an unfriendly response, the attitude of the dental hygienist who also worked the desk didn't significantly improve, and the doctor didn't seem to have the will to respect the patient and resolve the issue. Whenever I brought up my concerns, I felt a defensive attitude rather than empathy or explanation. I also felt there was a lack of communication to address the patient's concerns.
In particular, even though the problem of the tongue being continuously caught due to the fixed retainer after the end of orthodontic treatment occurred, the alternative suggested by the hospital was ① Patients are at risk of developing cavities by adding resin ② The patient may accept the possibility of the teeth being spread apart by cutting the device. ③ The method was to remove the fixed retainer and switch to a Vivera retainer costing approximately 400,000 won that requires wearing for 20 hours a day. As a result, the structure was such that patients had to bear the inconvenience, risk, and additional costs in all options, and no real after-sales service or fundamental adjustments were made to the problems with the retainer itself.
After my braces were removed, my tongue continued to get caught in the retainer, and the rough surface was so rough that it would scratch my hand. I was eventually diagnosed with glossitis, but the same issue persisted, with no reattachment or after-sales service.
Even during the refund process for my fixed retainer, there were some initial confusion regarding the amount, and I was presented with a refund agreement that contained difficult-to-understand clauses, such as restrictions on review writing, which led me to forgo the refund. Overall, I felt there was a lack of respect for patients and a lack of adequate explanation.
Also, since it was located in Yeouido, I went ahead with it, but it was disappointing that the round-trip hospital relocated, making it a two-hour commute. Orthodontic clinics often relocate nearby, so it was a bit disappointing.
This article is a personal treatment experience, and I really regret not reading reviews after watching it on YouTube. Yes, it is. I hope that this will be used only as a reference for those considering orthodontic treatment.

해결이 쉽지 않다는 얘기에 안타깝지만, 경험담 덕분에 큰 참고가 됩니다.
