A few months ago, I had a health checkup, and the results of the questionnaire indicated that I was in the early stages of depression. So, I changed my lifestyle patterns and took medication that could help prevent the depression from worsening. After about 3-4 months of effort, my condition has significantly improved compared to before. I think the depression started around the time before or during COVID-19. Since I am naturally a positive and optimistic person, I thought that depression was not something related to me, but I realized from the health checkup questionnaire results that a mild depression that began during the COVID-19 period has continued until recently. I had also noticed it myself, but I didn't think it was definitely depression. Therefore, to prevent the depression from worsening, I started making some changes to my daily routine. First, I made an effort to have meals or tea with people 2-3 times a week and to talk with them. Depression tends to worsen when one spends a lot of time alone, so maintaining a continuous conversation environment with others seems really important. Second, I tried to drink a lot of phytoncide, which can help with depression. Phytoncide is said to have healing effects on various mental illnesses, including alleviating depression, reducing stress, and easing dementia symptoms. That’s why I took up hiking and walking along nature trails as hobbies. I especially frequently hiked or strolled in places with cypress trees, which produce a lot of phytoncide.

And then I started taking a third supplement that can help with depression. Since I was in the early stages of depression, I didn't think it was necessary to go to the hospital for treatment and prescriptions. I found a supplement called NeuroLabs Cortonin Formula through an internet search, purchased it, and took it. Depression can occur physically due to isolation, but it also often arises psychologically due to various life stresses and feelings of discomfort and isolation. NeuroLabs Cortonin Formula contains main ingredients such as L-theanine, Rhodiola rosea, and magnesium, which help relieve stress and tension. After taking this supplement, I felt much more relaxed and less stressed.

By engaging with people, hiking and walking while inhaling plenty of phytoncides, and taking supplements over a period of 3 to 4 months, I made efforts to heal my depression. Now, I feel that the negative feelings, sadness, and loneliness I used to experience have significantly diminished, and I have become more positive and mentally healthy. Moving forward, I plan to continue managing myself well and keep working to prevent the recurrence of depression.

    저도 얼마전 치매검사 받았는데 약간의 우울증 증세가 있다고하셨는데 늘 엄마 치매약을 타러가며 운동을 열심히 하는걸 아셔서 지금처럼 운동열심히 하고 엄마 안쓰럽지만 조금 맘을 내려놓으라하네요
