About 2-3 years ago, I suddenly started experiencing knee pain during daily activities. Mainly when climbing or descending stairs, lifting heavy objects, or making sudden turns while walking, I felt a dull, aching pain in my right knee. I also sensed that my knee osteoarthritis had begun because of my age. Still, I waited a few months to observe the situation, but the pain did not decrease and gradually worsened. However, I didn't think it was yet time to visit a hospital, so I considered self-treatment and searched online for various methods to treat knee osteoarthritis, trying them out. First, I looked into nutritional supplements. Usually, people think of calcium supplements for knee osteoarthritis, right? But calcium supplements do not provide quick effects; they are better for continuous intake to prevent or delay osteoporosis. For cases like mine, where knee pain has started, MSM or green-lipped mussel supplements are said to work quickly. So, I started taking MSM and green-lipped mussel supplements together to treat my knee osteoarthritis. MSM is a dietary sulfur supplement that is good for overall joint health, not just knee osteoarthritis. It is said to be effective in relieving joint pain and reducing inflammation. I purchased a product called <GNM joints, cartilage, bone health with MSM, vitamin D, and vitamin K> from the internet, which has many reviews and good ratings, and I started taking it.

And I also purchased <NutriLife New Zealand Green-Lipped Mussel 100%> and started taking it together with MSM. Green-lipped mussels are said to be highly effective for inflammatory conditions such as arthritis and rheumatism. Therefore, the Maori people in New Zealand who consume green-lipped mussels reportedly have almost no knee arthritis.

And along with supplements, I did good stretches for knee arthritis treatment. I found easy stretching methods that I could do indoors and did them for 30 minutes to an hour every day.

By consistently taking supplements beneficial for knee arthritis and exercising regularly for about six months, my knee pain gradually decreased and now almost completely disappeared. However, since there is no concept of a complete cure for knee arthritis, I plan to continue managing it well and make efforts to prevent its recurrence.
