I'm curious about ways to improve shoulder calcification without undergoing a procedure.
I have had stiff and painful shoulders for a long time.
When the symptoms worsen, I go to the orthopedic clinic, get acupuncture, pack therapy, and physical therapy, which helps a little. I go about my daily life, and if I get hurt again, I go back to the hospital, get acupuncture, pack therapy, and physical therapy again, and it gets better. I have been repeating this cycle.
Last year around this time, I fell and hit my chest and shoulders forward. When I try to lift my arm, I experience severe pain. I went to the hospital, had X-rays taken, and was told that calcification had occurred, which made the pain worse. I was only advised to come back to the hospital for treatment if the symptoms worsened, and I haven't received any other treatment options.
It seems that I will need to undergo a procedure if it worsens later.
I'm curious if there are people like me with shoulder calcification who have improved without any procedures.
In cold winter, my shoulders become stiffer, I have difficulty raising my arms, and the pain worsens, making it very difficult.
I'm also wondering if massaging the neck and shoulders with a massage device would be helpful in this case.
