I developed a herniated disc in my lower back while lifting something heavy.
I developed a herniated disc in my lower back from lifting heavy objects.
Do you know the water purifier? It's a water purifier that uses a water container placed on top of the machine.
The water bottle above is really heavy, you know...
I used the water purifier that needed a water bottle replacement in the office... but all the other male staff members...
I was alone because I was on a business trip. I had to refill the water bottle, and when I lifted it fearlessly, I couldn't move it.
So I wondered what this was... and I even developed numbness in my leg, so I went to the hospital and was diagnosed with a herniated disc (lumbar disc herniation).
They said it's a kind of herniated disc.
Herniated disc (lumbar disc herniation) can occur in any part of the spine.
Since it originated from the lumbar spine, the area above the buttocks felt stiff and painful.
It also appears in the cervical spine besides the lumbar spine, and depending on the location of occurrence, the pain location varies.
I had really intense leg numbness. Somehow, I managed to alleviate the symptoms of a herniated disc in my lower back, and I think walking and stretching probably helped a lot.
Oh my goodness, I hurt my lower back while carrying a water container, and they kept insisting it was a work-related injury... hahaha
Currently, I don't experience numbness or severe symptoms like before, but occasionally, if I lift something heavy, I feel back pain and become unable to move.
I can't ignore a herniated disc in my lower back. I'm really fearless, lifting such heavy things alone, haha. It's all my fault, after all.
My personal method for managing a herniated disc is to go to the hospital whenever my back hurts, get a prescription, and take the medication.
I usually do foam roller stretching and walking.
It might become worse, but since it hasn't worsened, I think that's a relief.
People with a herniated disc will understand. How painful this can be...
I really can't move. Haha
I will continue to manage it well without overexerting myself so that the herniated disc does not worsen.
