Supplements and efforts to alleviate osteoporosis symptoms
Perhaps because of my age, starting around June of last year, my bones and joints began to ache and feel stiff. On days when I overexerted myself, my knee joints would hurt, making it difficult to stand or walk, so I went to the hospital. They suggested a bone density test. The results were not as good as I expected; my bone density was lower than the average for my age, and I was diagnosed with osteoporosis. I have been steadily improving my lifestyle habits and nutrition management. In fact, osteoporosis often occurs in menopausal women due to hormonal changes, but it can also develop from environmental factors such as overuse of joints, age, and continuous nutritional intake, like in my case. The doctor introduced an injection that could help with osteoporosis-related pain and improvement, but since it had side effects, I decided to improve my lifestyle habits myself and try to slow the progression of osteoporosis instead. Since it is impossible to reverse existing osteoporosis, my goal was to prevent further progression or at least slow it down. I improved my lifestyle habits and consistently ate foods beneficial for bone health. Although I was taking many nutritional supplements, I focused on those related to osteoporosis relief. I looked for supplements with high calcium content, fast absorption, and good reviews, as there are more supplements that help with bone health and calcium. The Dr. Phyto Calcium Magnesium Vitamin D supplement, which I took regularly, was effective because it contained not only calcium but also various other nutrients beneficial for bone health. It is made from plant-based seaweed calcium, contains rice fermented magnesium, and has an ideal 2:1 ratio of calcium to magnesium. It also contains high-absorption D3 and polyglutamic acid, which enhances calcium absorption, so I was determined to take it. Additionally, I took the Junggeundang Bone Health Project 365 CalMadiA K, which also received good reviews. I feel that my joint pain has somewhat decreased thanks to my ongoing efforts, which is a relief, but I plan to continue being cautious.
