Tip: Relieve fatigue with trapezius muscle stretching
The trapezius muscle is a large, diamond-shaped muscle that connects the neck and shoulders, supporting the head and facilitating shoulder movement.
It helps maintain a certain posture of the shoulders or causes the trapezius muscle to develop due to excessive exercise.
The cause of trapezius muscle pain is stress. When the muscles in the neck and shoulders are excessively tense due to stress, it leads to muscle pain.
Overusing one shoulder to carry a bag, lifting objects improperly, or adopting a slouched posture with the head bowed can strain the muscles.
It becomes shorter and tighter, causing trapezius muscle pain.
Symptoms caused by trapezius muscle tension include...
When the pain first occurs, it begins as a dull ache in the back of the neck.
Gradually, it started hurting up to the shoulder, with the trapezius muscle becoming stiff and causing pain.
Numbness in the hands and arms occurs during sleep, along with a burning sensation and hot pain in the shoulder blades.
The neck muscles and trapezius muscles are tense and tight, pressing on the nerves as well as gradually narrowing the blood vessels, causing blood to flow upward.
Due to brain oxygen deficiency preventing descent, you may even need to undergo nerve block surgery.
I also sat in a chair for long hours playing games and looked at my phone for 3 to 5 hours in the community last year.
I think I spent several months sitting on the floor, crouching down for 5 to 10 hours at a time, making keyrings and hair ties.
Although I started as a hobby... my wrong posture, caught in the trap of fun, has even led to a neck disc problem.
Both shoulders felt heavy as if caught in a cramp, and there was a tingling sensation in my arms, but I didn't realize it was serious and left it untreated.
I developed a deformity and started experiencing trapezius muscle pain, so I finally decided to visit the hospital...
I'm touring the hospital to receive posture correction, Chuna therapy, and manual therapy, but fundamentally I don't get better; it only provides slight relief.
I am trying to fix myself and am changing all my bad habits in daily life.
When I actually got sick, I realized why I behaved that way, and I felt regret.
From now on, I will try to avoid adopting positions that strain me as much as possible and change my posture every hour.
I watched a YouTube video about a stretch that's good for the trapezius muscle, and I do it whenever I have a chance, so it helps and feels so soft and relaxed.
Members reading this now may also feel heavy, stiff, and shoulder pain in their trapezius muscles. Please refer to the video below (alternating sides) and try to follow along consistently. You will notice a more beautiful neck line and feel your shoulders become lighter.
Don't just regret when you're in pain, protect your trapezius muscles early on!!! Haha
