I stretched my arm to wake up in the morning, but it was really painful.
After that, I couldn't rotate my arm and was in so much pain that I went to the orthopedic surgeon, who said I had thoracic outlet syndrome.
So I didn't exercise because I was told not to do physical therapy or exercise, but the pain has become worse.
After just a week, I went back to the hospital and was told my muscles had stiffened?? They said to get nerve injections and exercise.
I didn't exercise because I was told not to, but I think it got worse.
I was given medication for inflammation, but since I didn't see any improvement, I didn't go to the hospital and diligently did shoulder exercises at home. Now, after about six months, I am almost fully recovered.
I am still consistently doing shoulder-related stretches.
