For treating a herniated disc, procedures and surgery are good options, but if the condition isn't severe, it's best to focus on conservative treatment through exercise and maintaining proper posture!

Procedures related to herniated discs only temporarily relieve pain, and surgery is only recommended in very serious cases.

Therefore, I am finding and practicing good methods to relieve lower back disc pain.

 

1. Correct posture

First of all, proper posture is absolutely essential when it comes to issues like herniated discs in the lower back and neck!

And, it's really important not to sit for long periods and to regularly stand up every hour to do back-stretching exercises.

 

2. McKenzie Exercise

There is Mackenzie exercise as a good workout for herniated discs in the lower back.

It is an exercise that is not burdensome and greatly helps alleviate herniated discs, so many people practice it.

It's a form of exercise that I trust even more because it was recommended by a famous professor who is well-versed in herniated discs.

And, since you received a painkiller prescription at the hospital, I think it would be good to manage the pain to some extent.

I am alleviating and treating my herniated disc through stretching, proper posture, exercise, and medication. I believe that consistently exercising and being mindful of correct posture are really important.

4. Walk regularly!

I think consistently walking is really important for herniated discs.

It's really important not to stay completely still and rest too much, but rather to move around to some extent to avoid weakening spinal health.

 

Preventing a herniated disc is really the most important thing.

It seems like a disease that, once contracted, requires treatment for a very long time.

For your health, I truly hope you maintain a proper posture consistently, engage your core muscles, avoid overexertion, and regularly do stretching!
