Severe pelvic pain, treatment case review.
Summary..
Had pelvic pain for several months and received treatment from an orthopedic surgeon for 2 to 3 months, but the pain actually worsened.
This is a case where healing was achieved through injections after visiting Park Ki-nam Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine Clinic introduced by an acquaintance.
---------
This is a review of the treatment I received for pelvic pain.
When walking, which area do you plan to visit at the hospital for your pelvic (it's a bit hard to call it that, but it refers to the area connected to the legs and body) pain? I want to ask. It's a rather ambiguous issue, and I almost always go to orthopedics, but it didn't seem right for me.
If the problem is with the bones, then an orthopedic surgeon is obviously the right choice, but if you're in pain without that being the case, it becomes a real issue.
In my case, I first went to a nearby orthopedic clinic and pain clinic hospital.
I first went to the orthopedic department, and I was really disappointed with the results. After an X-ray, it's hard to describe, but there was an issue with the gap between the bones in the area where the leg and body connect (is it called the groin?). They told me to come for physical therapy every three days.
I followed the instructions and received physical therapy and medication, but after two months, there was no improvement and it worsened, until one day later on...
I was taking a walk when suddenly I experienced pelvic pain so severe that I couldn't even take a step in the middle of the street.
I hesitated to call 119, so I urgently called my family home and they brought the car. My dad told me about a pain clinic hospital he introduced, and he told me to go there.
It's about an hour's distance, so I called the hospital to check the situation and went there~~

I went for an ultrasound exam, and they pressed here and there to identify the pain points before administering the injection.
I placed 2 to 3 injections while observing the ultrasound... It was a walk that I couldn't even take a single step, and I thought it wouldn't be possible in a short period.
No... I thought I was on drugs...
They told me to walk side to side... Huh?? Even when moving freely, there is no discomfort anywhere.
The pain in the world has disappeared like snow melting...
The doctor said that medication is not necessary, and since you received injections for 2-3 days, there may be some pain. If you experience pain during daily activities, you should come back once more.
It's been about three months (treatment on April 2, 2024), so I dare to say now.
Regarding pelvic pain... You can go anywhere you like, but I strongly recommend getting X-rays and ultrasound done, and visiting a place where a doctor can make a proper diagnosis. Also, I suggest including the determination of whether calcification is the cause as a mandatory part of the diagnosis. Wishing you a swift recovery and complete healing.
The truly difficult and uncomfortable thing is pelvic pain.
Of course, pain in other areas can be very annoying and uncomfortable, but pelvic pain that interferes with walking is extremely difficult.
Don't worry alone; search for information here and there, refer to good examples, and wish you a full recovery.
Don't just hope things will get better; go out and find a way.
