Pelvic pain-related... treatment review.
When walking, do you experience joint (it's a bit difficult to specify, but it refers to the area where the leg and body are connected) pain? I would like to ask which department of the hospital you plan to visit.
If the problem is with the bones, then an orthopedic surgeon is obviously the right choice, but if you're in pain without that being the case, it becomes a real issue.
In my case, I first went to a nearby orthopedic clinic and pain clinic hospital.
I first went to the orthopedic department, and the results were really disappointing. It's hard to describe after the X-ray, but they said there is an issue with the gap between the bones in the area where the leg and body are connected (is that called the groin?), and I was told to come for physical therapy every three days.
I followed the instructions and received physical therapy and medication, but after two months, there was no improvement and it worsened, until one day later on...
While taking a walk, suddenly I experienced such severe pain in the middle of the street that I couldn't even take a step.
Since calling 119 felt awkward, I called my family at home and they brought the car. My dad said there is a pain clinic hospital nearby where they can help, so he told me to go there.
I went~~
295-6, Bugok 2-dong, Geumjeong-gu, Busan
Park Ki-nam Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine Clinic
I went for an ultrasound exam, and they pressed around to identify the pain points before administering the injection.
I placed 2 to 3 injections while observing the ultrasound... It was a walk that I couldn't even take a single step, and I thought it wouldn't be possible in a short period.
No... I thought I was on drugs...
They told me to walk side to side... Huh?? Even when moving freely, there is no discomfort anywhere.
The pain in the world has disappeared like snow melting away...
The doctor said that medication is not necessary, and since you received injections for 2-3 days, there may be some pain. If you experience pain during daily activities, you should come back once more.
It's been about three months (treatment on April 2, 2024), so I dare to speak now.
Regarding the pain... You can go anywhere you like, but I strongly recommend getting X-rays and ultrasound done and going to a place where a doctor can make a proper diagnosis. Also, I suggest including the cause of calcification as a mandatory factor in determining the cause. Wishing you a swift recovery and full healing.
