Review of treatment with extracorporeal shock wave therapy for right heel pain and plantar fasciitis

In the past, I was working while standing, and I gained weight rapidly.

Suffered from heel pain on the sole due to plantar fasciitis

There is an enemy.

I had severe pain in the heel of the right sole.

I think it's because I often stand with my right leg crossed and tend to shift my weight onto my heels when standing normally.

So, I looked into it and visited Suwon Jeongdap Hospital.

I received extracorporeal shock wave therapy.

Extracorporeal shock wave

Applying a powerful shockwave to the lesion area from outside the body

This is a representative non-surgical treatment for musculoskeletal symptoms.

It is applicable.

Advantages of extracorporeal shock wave therapy

It can be applied to almost all joints.

• The risk of complications or side effects is low.

•Short procedure time causes no disruption to daily life.

It is highly safe even with repetitive procedures.

It restores the fundamental pain.

Extracorporeal shock wave therapy varies depending on the scope of application.

It can be distinguished as either focal or radial.

✔ Focus type

Focal type occurs at the site of pain.

By focusing the shockwave intensively

Like shoulders, elbows, and knees

It is used for small areas of pain.

✔ Radial

The radiating type occurs in the surrounding area where pain occurs.

A method of treatment to allow shockwaves to propagate

Unlike focused types, a wide area

It is used during treatment.

I received focal therapy.

Adjust the intensity I can endure

You were doing it for me, but if the pain is severe

Even with a mild intensity, it hurt a lot.

Later, as the pain decreased, I was amazed that it didn't hurt at all.

I think I saw significant results even after only three treatments.

It was a procedure recommended by the director, so I trusted and received it.

I thought it was very effective without any side effects, so I was very satisfied.

Still, there are points to be cautious about, right?

Precautions After Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy

Immediately after extracorporeal shock wave therapy, pain may temporarily worsen, so it is better to rest rather than engage in strenuous exercise. Also, light showering is possible on the same day, but it is advisable to avoid exposure to high temperatures such as baths or saunas.

Since it is not a non-covered item, reimbursement through actual expenses is also possible.

There was a bit of a cost, but I was able to receive it without 부담.

People suffering from plantar fasciitis pain

I recommend extracorporeal shock wave therapy; I hope you try it~

      저는 체외충격파로 도움 많이 받았어요.
재발이 쉬운 질환이니 재발시 참고해보시면 좋을 것 같아요.
