What could be the cause of pain below the left rib?

I have pain below my left rib cage. What could be the cause?

Recently, I have started to feel pain in this area, and I am very worried.

Sometimes the pain feels dull, and other times it feels sharp.

It seems to worsen mainly when I move or take deep breaths. I am afraid that this pain might be a sign of some illness.

Rib pain may be related to the digestive system, muscle pain, or other causes.

I heard that it could be related to heart or lung problems.
