Right neck and shoulder pain, could it be a symptom of a herniated disc?

I started feeling pain on the right side of my neck and throat. At first, I thought it was just simple fatigue or muscle tension, but as time went on, the pain didn't go away and seemed to get worse, so I started to worry.

Right neck and shoulder pain, could it be a symptom of a herniated disc?

In particular, we suspect that the symptoms below may indicate a herniated cervical disc.

  1. Stiffness in the neck and shoulders: Pain worsens when turning the head side to side or moving it up and down, and the neck and shoulders feel stiff.
  2.
  3. Numbness in the arms and hands: Occasionally, I experience tingling and numbness in my right arm and fingers. These symptoms become especially worse when I sit for long periods or work on the computer for extended times.
  4.
  5. Headache: Frequent headaches that start from the right neck area and spread to the back of the head.
  6.
  7. Limited range of motion: Difficulty moving the neck freely, accompanied by pain with each movement.
  8.

Right neck and shoulder pain, could it be a symptom of a herniated disc?I have heard that symptoms like these may be related to a cervical disc herniation, which makes me worried. A cervical disc herniation occurs when the disc in the neck protrudes or degenerates, pressing on the nerves, and in severe cases, surgery may be necessary.

I would like to hear advice from those who have experienced similar symptoms or are well-informed about cervical disc issues. I am interested in knowing what to pay attention to before visiting the hospital, or if there are any stretches or lifestyle habits that can help alleviate the symptoms.
