When the cause of right rib pain is unknown

Hello.

 

I have been experiencing persistent pain recently below my right rib cage, and I am very worried.

Sometimes I feel a sharp pain, and other times I feel a dull ache, so I'm not sure which hospital I should go to.

 

 

I would like to seek advice on which specialist to visit and what tests to undergo for these symptoms.

The current symptoms started about two weeks ago, and I occasionally feel a tightness in my chest.

There are no other particular symptoms, but the pain continues, and I am becoming increasingly anxious.

 

 

Which should I go to, internal medicine, orthopedics, or thoracic surgery?

Advice on whether you need to visit another hospital.

What preparations should I make before going to the hospital?
