(Concern) My husband has a severe ankle ligament injury.

Hello.

My husband seemed very healthy before we got married, but as we approach ten years of marriage, issues related to his maternal family history and untreated childhood conditions are gradually surfacing.

Among them, I have an ankle. About two years ago, I sprained my ankle, and since inflammation treatment didn't work, I had an MRI taken, which showed a small bone fracture and significant ligament damage, so I underwent surgery.

But last week, she said her top of the foot hurt, so she went to the orthopedic clinic, and after examination, it seems that her ankle is quite twisted, indicating significant ligament damage. They suggested taking MRI scans of both ankles and possibly performing ligament surgery.

There shouldn't be any major issues in daily life, but since it's not in a normal state, surgery is recommended.

Why is your ankle ligament not doing well... Maybe it's because since childhood, even if you got hurt while playing, you didn't tell anyone for fear of getting scolded, and you never properly rested your ankle, so that's probably why.

Should I have ankle ligament surgery?

Is there no other way?

My husband is a carpenter specializing in wooden houses, so he can't work while he's recovering from surgery, and I'm worried about what to do.

Please share some good words.

    의사가 아무때나 수술을 권하는건 아니니
수술을 해야 할거 같아요 미루면 더 큰 손해 볼수 있잖아요
