Personally, the most effective remedy for headaches is to sleep. If possible, taking a Tylenol and then sleeping seems to be the best solution.
The second method is to massage with a guasha tool. It is said that headaches can also occur when blood flow from the neck to the head is not smooth. Therefore, oil is applied to the sternocleidomastoid muscle and the back of the neck, and then a guasha is used to stroke downward from top to bottom. The area marked with a blunt spot indicated by the blue arrow is targeted. Both temples are also gently pressed on both sides.
These two methods are the most effective for me when I have severe headaches, so I do them frequently.
