I usually enjoy running as a hobby exercise, but recently my instep has been aching, so I haven't been able to run. Walking with the aching instep is okay, but I can't run because of the pain. I don't recall any misstep while running, so I'm wondering whether I should visit a Korean medicine clinic or if muscle soreness can be relieved with hot or cold compresses. I want to know which type of compress, hot or cold, is more effective in this situation. I want to recover quickly and run again, but I am holding back to avoid worsening the injury before it fully heals.
