If you come out towards Exit 4 of Male Station, there is a Homeplus, and on the second floor of that building is the St. Mary Tower Plastic Surgery Clinic, which is really prominently located. They have integrated the former Shinhan Bank location and several shops across the street to operate a center where they can provide orthopedics, exercise therapy, and manual therapy simultaneously.

There are three doctors, and the treatment rooms, injection rooms, radiology rooms, and the integrated treatment center are all lined up with physical therapy rooms.

The opposite side is the rehabilitation exercise therapy center, where manual therapy and exercise therapy are prominently offered.

 

 

 

Going to the orthopedic clinic regularly because of a herniated disc is like a routine daily activity.

A fairly large orthopedic clinic has opened in the neighborhood, so I've been keeping an eye on it. Recently, after experiencing neck issues and then a persistent headache for several days, I decided to visit.

It's been almost 10 years since I had a herniated disc in my neck, and I experience some relief from pain when I undergo physical therapy, traction therapy, or take medication, but the pain comes back again.

I recently started Pilates, but the movements were quite difficult, and I experienced severe headaches every day. The headaches haven't gone away for over a week, so I want to get checked to see if my nerves are being pressed more severely.

They put a sticker like that on the spot where I got the shot.. I also received two injections on my back.. They say injections are surprisingly stingy, but it actually hurts quite a bit... sniff sniff

 

 

Since it's your first visit, you waited quite a while after filling out the questionnaire... Even at 5 PM on a weekday, there are many people. The hospital's consultation hours are until 7 PM, so working people might find it more convenient to visit.

Monday and Thursday have night clinics until 8 o'clock.

Before meeting the doctor, I quickly took X-rays of the areas with pain~~

I met with the doctor, looked at the X-ray, talked about the pain, pressed here and there to find out where it hurts, and was told I need injection treatment. I changed into my gown and received my first shot...

Whenever I get sick, I always receive physical therapy (applying MensoRedum, hot packs, electrical stimulation, or similar treatments). If it's severe, I undergo traction therapy, followed by just injections. I also visited countless oriental medicine clinics, and the process was similar... getting acupuncture and electrical stimulation.

It didn't seem like just an ordinary injection here, but rather they were using something like a thin rod or stick to check and administer the injection. I couldn't see because I was lying down, but it looked like two people coordinated to use a complicated-looking machine connected to it. Later, I received the manual and found out it was a special imaging injection.

It would have been nice if you had told me in advance that the price would be so high, although I guess it would have been accurate anyway... ㅡㅡ;; The price is 89,800 won, even though it's the first visit treatment...

 

 

I'm going to apply for the actual medical insurance, but I'm worried it might be non-covered services...

Anyway, the hospital has a huge number of patients, and its facilities are very clean, large, and impressive, so it somehow gives a sense of trust. According to their website, they also possess many cutting-edge medical devices.

Since I received the injection, I plan to visit again for a follow-up report by Saturday, and I think the throat pain has definitely slightly decreased. I hope the expensive treatment will be effective.

 

Oh, by the way!!! The doctor is very kind.. much kinder than the staff... He explains everything calmly and clearly, and he also personally provides treatment~~~
