When I was young, I had a job that required standing. I felt pain on the sole of my big toe, little toe, and the ball of my foot due to calluses forming. I worked standing for an average of 6 hours, so I thought it was just from being sore and didn't suspect anything. After quitting the job and resting at home, I felt better, but now, after walking 10,000 steps, I have pain again in the big toe, little toe, and the sole of my foot. A TV program mentioned that calluses on the soles could increase the risk of dementia, which worries me. I think the issue might be related to my gait, and I am also worried about which hospital to visit.
