If you are suffering from a herniated disc, placing a pillow under your knees while sleeping on your back and looking up at the ceiling can help reduce lower back pain.

 

If you have a herniated disc, avoid sleeping on your stomach or curling your back into a fetal position, as these can worsen back pain. Please be careful.

For patients with spinal stenosis, lying on your side with your back slightly bent may be more effective than sleeping straight upright. It can help alleviate back pain and promote better sleep.
