Tip) Useful tips about plantar fasciitis
(***Just to clarify, I am a consumer with no relation to SKC. My own purchase)
I usually enjoy walking.
But one day, my heels started hurting so much when I walked. It hurts even more when I touch my heelsㅠㅠ
In the morning, it was so severe that I couldn't even put my feet on the ground and had to crawl painfully to get up and come out to the living room.
Of course, since I was in pain, I first visited the orthopedic department.
But even in orthopedics, I only felt better when I was visiting... after a few days, in the morning, I was back to quadrupedal walking... haha
I haven't been able to go outside much for a while because my heels hurt so much. ㅠㅠ
So the first thing I changed was my sneakers. I liked loafers (shoes that almost match the ground), but I asked around and did some research, and I ended up buying sneakers from SKCH. (I also received a recommendation for Romt, but it was more expensive than I expected ^^;).
There were various types of sneakers, but I started by wearing the more affordable line of sneakers. Still, they definitely had better cushioning compared to regular sneakers.
And I am consistently doing stretching and swimming.
Rather than deliberately taking time out to stretch, I just do it casually while watching TV, or while doing the dishes, or when waiting at the traffic light—just small movements. Before I knew it, I was able to go about my day without any trouble.
I casually asked at the hospital.
Could it be because of my heavy weight? I asked, and the doctor smiled and said that's not the case (although weight isn't 0% of the cause, hearing that it's not the cause eased my mind).
At that time, my blood pressure was 165/64.
I have gained a bit more weight now, but since I don't feel any pain, I don't think it's only because of my weight.
I wear soft slippers at home, and when I go outside, I always wear sneakers. Oh, and socks are a must.
Here are some simple stretching exercises you can do at home. If you have plantar fasciitis like me, give them a try.
