I'm taking nutritional supplements regularly to prevent osteoporosis.
As I got older, I began to worry about the more specific problems I was having with my joints and bones. Then, after hearing about osteoporosis from people around me, I became more aware of the disease and became more interested in its prevention. So, I researched effective ways to prevent it and purchased some nutritional supplements. I plan to continue taking these supplements and focus on my bone health to prevent osteoporosis.

However, I was concerned that taking too much could be hard on my liver and even reduce the effectiveness of the medication. So, after much deliberation, I narrowed it down to two supplements, which I purchased and am taking. One is green-lipped mussel. The other is a combination of calcium, magnesium, zinc, and vitamin D.
I learned through research that green-lipped mussels are good for joint health. The reason green-lipped mussels became known to the world was because the Maori people of New Zealand had strong joints and rarely suffered from bone-related diseases. Research showed that this was thanks to the Maori people's consistent consumption of green-lipped mussels.
Green-lipped mussels contain ingredients that regenerate cartilage, increase bone density, and relieve joint pain, helping not only prevent osteoporosis but also improve overall joint health. That's why I've been buying and taking green-lipped mussels to help prevent osteoporosis.
And another nutritional supplement is a complex supplement containing calcium, magnesium, zinc, and vitamin D.
Calcium deficiency and vitamin D deficiency are said to be causes of osteoporosis.
And in the case of magnesium, if you look into it, 60% of the magnesium in our body is stored in the bones, and if there is a magnesium deficiency, it suppresses the proliferation of osteoblasts that form bones and promotes the creation of osteoclasts that destroy bones, weakening the bones.
And zinc is a mineral essential for bone formation and maintenance.
So, to prevent osteoporosis, I bought and am taking a nutritional supplement that contains calcium, vitamin D, magnesium, and zinc.
I plan to continue taking these two nutritional supplements to prevent osteoporosis.
