I have a stiffness and pain in my left neck every morning. Could it be a problem with my sleeping position or pillow?

Hello! I'm an office worker who mostly works in the office during the week. Recently, every morning when I wake up, the back of the left side of my neck feels particularly stiff, and the pain is so intense that I can barely turn my head. At first, I thought it was just a temporary symptom caused by a bad night's sleep, but now that the pain has been recurring for over a week, I'm worried it could be simply a sleeping issue or a sign of a medical condition like a herniated cervical disc.

I usually sleep on my side. Could it be that my pillow isn't the right height for me, causing my neck muscles to tense up all night? Or is it the accumulated posture of looking at the computer at work that causes the pain while I sleep? If I experience neck stiffness like I do, any advice on simple stretches I can do at home, or on proper sleeping posture and pillow selection that can help with neck health, would be incredibly helpful.
