He also gave me careful instructions that even if there were no abnormalities on the X-ray, I should definitely visit a TMJ specialist dentist if I felt any pain in my jaw or gums within a few days. I applied ice packs frequently as the doctor said, and thanks to the injections, the pain gradually subsided. After taking the prescribed medication without fail for 3 days, fortunately, my jaw pain almost disappeared and I did not experience any additional pain in my gums or jaw joint.

I was worried that my jaw might have cracked or fractured, given the impact of my fall. However, the doctor reassured me throughout the treatment and explained the results in detail, which was a huge psychological relief.
