I have severe pain in the front of my thigh after squats. Could my posture be the problem?
Recently, I've been doing more than 100 squats a day, splitting them into several sessions, whenever I have time.
I tried to do it with good posture without forcing myself to increase the number of repetitions.
A few days later, I started having severe pain in the front of my thigh, so I'm resting now.
There's no pain at all on the other side, but the front of my thigh hurts so much. It feels more intense than the simple muscle pain that comes after strength training.
My thighs only hurt in the front. Is my squat form wrong?
I made sure my knees didn't go beyond my toes, spread my legs shoulder-width apart, and made sure my feet and knees were in the same direction. Then, I sat down with my knees and hips pulled back.
Does anyone else experience similar symptoms while doing squats? Could you please advise me on how to effectively strengthen my leg muscles with squats?
