I share my experience with lumbar disc herniation and its symptoms.
Hello. I suffered from a herniated disc and was diagnosed with it. I received treatment for several months. I'd like to share my experience of the great discomfort and pain I experienced due to the symptoms. It made me realize how incredibly important the lower back, the center of the body, is.
Last year, I twisted my back while riding public transportation. When you twist your back unexpectedly, your body freezes and you can't do anything. I'm sure some of you know this... At that moment, I couldn't move, my body trembled for several minutes, and I cried.
After that, I received acupuncture several times at a local Korean medicine clinic, but there was no improvement. The pain was getting worse and worse, making it difficult to sit down even for a moment, and my legs were going numb so badly.
So I figured this wasn't just a simple muscle twitch... it could be a sign of a herniated disc. I went to the hospital, got an MRI, and was diagnosed with a herniated disc.
A herniated disc, also known as a herniated disc, occurs when the nucleus pulposus, the center of the disc, bulges through the annulus fibrosus. I've been dealing with herniated disc for years, and I've seen improvement with acupuncture and non-surgical treatments. These days, I hear that non-surgical treatments are more effective than surgical treatments for herniated discs.
And in order to prevent lumbar disc herniation and improve lumbar disc symptoms, it is important to strengthen the muscles in the lower back, so it is important to consistently do appropriate exercises, such as hiking and walking, that do not strain the lower back.
To help alleviate herniated disc symptoms, I consistently use warm back compresses every day to help relax my muscles. And ongoing back massages also help alleviate herniated disc symptoms.
The symptoms of a herniated disc may vary from person to person, but I think the extreme pain is the same. I hope that others will also strengthen their backs to improve their symptoms of a herniated disc and live a healthy life!!
