I recently went to get chiropractic treatment...
The therapist looked at my posture and said that I had an anterior pelvic tilt.
At first I thought it was pelvic floor... huh?
My pelvis is tilted very forward.
So, it looks like your posture is leaning forward and your overall body balance is off.
I have turtle neck, so I wondered if this would have any effect. They said of course it would have an effect.
It's not as bad as the picture on the right...
I tried to take a selfie, but the picture didn't come out objectively....
When I did yoga for a short time before, I saw a picture someone else took of me and I was really leaning forward..??!
I don't have a belly, but when you look at it like this, it looks like my lower belly sticks out a little more than my waist.
It's not a disease that requires medication, but I'm worried because I heard that if I continue like this, it could put a strain on my back.
My throat already feels bad...
I usually sit for long periods of time.
I am currently receiving neck massage,
The therapist said that the neck, shoulders, and pelvis are all connected, so correction was needed starting with the pelvis.
I'm not sure exactly what exercises or management methods are good for anterior pelvic tilt.
The hospital where I received treatment for my neck was a neurosurgery hospital.. I wonder if this part can be corrected with orthopedic physical therapy or something like that.
Or, does anyone have any experience with whether it can be corrected on one's own through exercise?
I quit yoga because it didn't suit me. Should I try something like Pilates?
What corrective measures or exercises would be effective?
