A review of treating shoulder pain with regular exercise and diet.
My shoulder pain started due to work and frequent cell phone use, and it gradually worsened. I felt some relief on the day I exercised, but the pain returned, making daily life difficult. So, I began to seriously consider treating my shoulder pain. After several months of regular exercise and stretching, consuming helpful foods and supplements, and getting enough sleep, I'm now feeling better.
First, I tried regular exercise and stretching to treat my shoulder pain. Initially, my shoulder muscles were stiff, so I started with light wall stretches and elbow rotations. Then, I heard that exercises with bands were effective, so I tried them. Band exercises are often used to treat shoulder pain because they're gentle on the joints, and they effectively stimulate the smaller muscles in the shoulder, like the rotator cuff and trapezius muscles. If you don't have a band, you can also use a towel, but simply pulling the towel behind you has been effective in treating shoulder pain.
I also did some stretching exercises at work, like drawing circular movements around my shoulders and drawing large circles. At first, my shoulders didn't move properly, so it didn't seem to have much effect. But as I continued, my stiff shoulder muscles gradually loosened up, and shoulder flexibility improved.
Next, I ate foods and supplements that were helpful for treating shoulder pain. I heard that foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids, protein, calcium, and vitamin C, like salmon and other fish, are good for shoulder pain, so I ate a lot of them. I especially ate a lot of salmon, as omega-3 fatty acids are essential fatty acids that can significantly help reduce inflammation.
Supplements that can help with shoulder pain include omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin D, magnesium, and MSM. I chose Joint Sunshine MSM. MSM supports joint and cartilage health, and this product contained 1,550 mg of MSM, which was a good deal.
And when using a computer or smartphone at work, I treated my shoulder pain by avoiding staying in the same position for long periods of time and frequently getting up and stretching.
