Ingrown Toenail Treatment and Correction Review

There are a lot of people who have ingrown toenails, right? I have one too.
My fingernails are fine, but the tips of both toenails are digging into my flesh, so I had to get ingrown toenail treatment and correction surgery.
First of all, as you know, the symptoms of ingrown toenails are
-A condition in which the toenails roll inward and dig into the flesh, causing pain and swelling.
-My feet get tired even after just a little bit of talking.
-If you wear socks and shoes, the toes often get holes 😅
There are three representative ones. I have been affected by all three.
I don't have extremely severe ingrown toenails like the provocative shop photos.
But my toenails are upturned + ingrown toenails, so when I wear closed shoes and walk for a long time, my big toe gets pressed and it hurts for days.
I kept neglecting it, but I felt like it couldn't go on like this, so I asked the nail shop my mom goes to, and they said they could treat problem nails and ingrown toenails, so I went to the nail shop to get them treated.
Since the condition of my other toes wasn't that bad, I decided to correct only my big toe.
The treatment process involves first trimming the nails, applying nail softener, and then attaching the corrector.
I live like this with braces on for 4 weeks.
The principle is that the braces hold the toenails in place, preventing them from digging into the flesh.
If you look at other reviews of ingrown toenail treatments, the braces are usually made of metal and very large, but this shop uses a transparent silicone band so it's comfortable and doesn't get in the way!
The downside is that you won't be able to cut your nails for four weeks until you get treatment, as the nail needs to be reshaped to grow in that direction...
And one thing to note is that I intentionally wore a lot of slippers and flip-flops that exposed my feet, but slippers automatically put a lot of force on my front toes, which isn't a problem for people with normal toenails, but it's not good for ingrown toenails. That's why I heard it's better to wear sneakers.
Toenail condition 4 weeks after the first ingrown toenail treatment
After about a month, the round toenails changed slightly into square ones.
I couldn't cut my toenails because I had no choice, but if you go for secondary ingrown toenail treatment, they will scale your toenails, so you don't have to worry about the length of your toenails.
I always check the size of my toenails carefully, and they are definitely straight!
After the treatment is over Put the braces back on.
3 weeks after second ingrown toenail treatment.
It's a little better than before.
If you look at the nail from above rather than from the front, you can see that the ends are gradually changing from being rounded to rounded.

When I compare them like this, it seems like the width of the toenails has also gotten longer.
It didn't change dramatically right after I got the treatment, but I still have the third and final ingrown toenail treatment in a month, so I think it will straighten out more after that.
Another downside is the price, but considering how much my feet hurt, I think it's worth the investment!
