Supplements good for back health, exercise to treat back pain
Two years ago, my lower back pain suddenly worsened. Due to poor posture, sitting habits, and lack of exercise, my back hurt so much that I received physical therapy. However, since the pain persisted, I treated it with supplements, diet, and a back brace, and now it has improved.
First, I took Murpira MSM+NAG joint cartilage health supplement to treat my back pain. Two tablets of Murpira contain 1,500mg of MSM, 500mg of N-acetylglucosamine, and 400IU of vitamin D, with additional ingredients such as shark cartilage powder, green-lipped mussel powder, boswellia extract powder, and vitamin C, which I chose. Murpira is a product recognized by the Korea Food & Drug Administration for its functional benefits in supporting joint and cartilage health, making it also effective for treating back pain.
Additionally, I purchased and used a medical lumbar support belt from Dr. Plan A to treat my back pain. It was helpful in maintaining proper posture and strengthening the support for my lower back.
Secondly, I consistently did core exercises that are good for the lower back to treat my back pain. I did a lot of plank exercises, which involve lying face down with both elbows on the ground, pulling the neck and shoulders away, and keeping both feet shoulder-width apart while lifting the hips to hold the position. Gradually increasing the duration helped strengthen the lower back muscles effectively.
Third, I ate a lot of good foods to treat my back pain, especially spinach, which is rich in magnesium, vitamin K, and calcium, so I consumed a lot of it. Spinach helps maintain the structure of the vertebrae, increase bone density, and promote the recovery of tissues around the spine, so I also took spinach powder. Additionally, mushrooms are rich in dietary fiber, vitamin D, selenium, and other minerals, so I ate a lot of them. Mushrooms play an important role in maintaining bone and spinal health, which also helped in treating my back pain.
