Hello. I would like to share my story about experiencing lymphadenitis. I will talk about what the early symptoms of lymphadenitis are and why I endured the pain even when the early symptoms appeared. I will also discuss the process of how I eventually went to the hospital.
One morning, I woke up and my neck was sore. Specifically, the area below my jaw and the middle of my neck hurt. It was painful to swallow saliva and pressing on the area also caused pain. I had never experienced lymphadenitis before, so I didn't think it was that, and I wondered if it was just a sore throat or if I was simply tired. At first, I thought it was nothing serious and just endured it. But the next day, the pain continued.
But as time went on, it was different from a sore throat because the pain was in the neck area, so I was curious about what this symptom could be. I looked it up, and it seemed similar to early symptoms of lymphadenitis.
The early symptoms of lymphadenitis are said to be feeling a lump with your hand, but at that time, I couldn't feel anything like that.
So, since a sore throat has similar symptoms, I thought taking medicine might help, so I took sore throat medicine, but the pain remained the same.

The reason I didn't go to the hospital sooner was that I felt okay when I woke up in the morning, but the pain would increase in the afternoon. So, as this repeated, I thought I might be getting better... But at some point, I noticed a bulging lump.!? The early symptom of lymphadenitis is a palpable lump, but I thought I was in the early stage? I felt it after a little while. I was so surprised that I finally went to an ENT specialist on the fourth day.
In the ENT clinic, they touched the area I said was sore, and many patients confuse early symptoms of lymphadenitis with salivary gland inflammation and pain. Based on my symptoms, they said it looked like lymphadenitis. Since this is my first time experiencing lymphadenitis, I didn't know whether it was early symptoms of lymphadenitis or salivary gland inflammation 🥹. Once I experienced it, I realized how painful it really is! Usually, lymphadenitis is said to be very painful after just a day or two, but the doctor asked me how I managed to endure four days, haha.
That's right, I didn't know anything about lymphadenitis, so I just thought it was a sore throat and endured it.
The early symptoms of lymphadenitis can be similar to a sore throat like mine. As it progresses, it seems to cause swelling of the flesh.
Some people also experience heat waves.
I received medical treatment and was prescribed medication at the hospital. I was advised that the medication contained antibiotics and could cause vomiting, but I was fine. Fortunately, I took the medication and recovered.

임파선염 위치가 달라서 확인이 어렵지 않은 것 같네요 많이 아프셨을텐데 어찌 4일이나 참으셨어요 ㅠ 이상징후가 생기면 참지마시고 병원에 가셔요 병키우면 더 힘듭니다 지금은 많이 회복되셨다니 다행이네요^^

많이 아프셨겠어요. 요즘 느끼는 건 조금만 아프더라도 바로 병원에가는게 낫겠단 겁니다. 임파선염이란 걸모르셨다면 그냥,,왜이렇게 아프지? 저도 그런 생각이 들 것같긴 해요. 다행히 약 먹고 회복이 되어서 다행입니다

아구 4일동안이나 너무 고생했을꺼 같아요 목부분에 볼록 부어있는것이 보이네요 . 아프면 참지말고 바로 병원으로 가야하나봐요 정말 지금은 괜찮아 져서 너무 다행이네요. 우리몸은 우리가 잘 지켜야할거 같아요 . 건강 잘 챙기자구요

임파선염은 통증이 목감기와 달라서 통증을 처음 느끼셨을 때 뭔가 다르다고 느끼셨을 것 같아요. 저도 예전에 임파선염 걸려본 적 있어서 공감이 가네요. 이게 목감기처럼 편도가 아픈 게 아니라 목 근육도 아파서 4일동안 참으셨다면 정말 아프셨을 것 같은데요. 임파선염이 진행되면 열이 날 때도 있고 임파선이 비대해지면서 근육이 튀어나오게 됩니다. 그래서 사진처럼 저렇게 볼록 튀어나왔을 거예요. 대부분은 저절로 치료되는 경우가 많고 아님 병원에 내원하시면 처방받은 약을 먹고 나아지는 경우가 많습니다. 아마 임파선염을 앓으셨던 시점에 몸이 많이 피곤하셨거나 면역력이 떨어졌던 상태이신가 봅니다. 임파선염은 꾸준한 운동과 규칙적인 식습관, 그리고 충분한 수면을 가지시면 재발하지 않고 예방에 도움 될 수 있습니다.

임파선염 저도 걸려본 적이 있어서 아는데 정말 진짜 아파요. 침 삼킬 때마다 아프더라고요. 4일이나 참으신 것도 놀랍네요. 목이 많이 부으셨었는데 나중에 약 먹고 가라앉긴 했나요? 생각보다 툭 튀어나와 있어서 놀랍네요ㅠ 사실 증상이 목감기와 비슷했다면 저라도 몰랐을 것 같긴 해요. 보통 이비인후과적인 질환은 면역력이랑 제일 크게 관련이 있어서 아마 면역력이 좀 약해졌거나 스트레스를 좀 받으셨었나 봅니다. 약 먹고 회복하셨다니 다행이예요. 앞으로 면역력 관리에 힘쓰셔야 겠어요. 한 번 걸리면 재발 가능성이 높다고 들었거든요. 앞으로 어디가 아프시면 바로 병원에 가는게 좋을 것 같네요~ 건강하시길 바라겠습니다.
