A review of managing asthma symptoms with medication and diet
Because my bronchial tubes are originally weak, I used to cough frequently, but at some point, I started coughing so severely that it became difficult to breathe. I coughed so much that my chest hurt, and when I went to the hospital, they said I had asthma symptoms. I used inhalers for my bronchi and made various efforts, and my asthma symptoms gradually improved.
Bronchial inflammation such as asthma, if left untreated, can lead to ongoing cough and difficulty breathing, causing problems in other organs as well. Therefore, if a cough persists, it is advisable to suspect asthma and visit a hospital. I also had severe phlegm and suffered because of it.
Exercise is good for improving cardiovascular function and muscle strength, but if done recklessly, it can actually worsen asthma, so caution is needed. To prevent dryness, I always kept a humidifier and a wet towel nearby, and drank lukewarm water to prevent phlegm caused by asthma. For food, pears and honey are good, so I put honey on pears, boiled them, and ate them warm. Also, a natural stone pear, called "Yakbae," which is said to be very good for asthma, was dried or fermented into a liquid, and I regularly consumed it. Additionally, I tried respiratory health supplements like Bua Mera Oil and Baekse Sikeurit. Since they are approved by the Korea Food and Drug Administration, they seem quite effective in reducing coughing, so I continue to take them. These supplements seem suitable for people with weak bronchial tubes or symptoms like asthma. As a result of various efforts, my asthma has improved significantly; when I cough severely, I no longer experience difficulty breathing or wheezing when breathing, and I can sleep better at night. Since dust and similar particles are really bad for asthma, I maintain cleanliness in my home to prevent dust accumulation and am careful about it.
