메르에르 저도 갱년기 때 지금은 가끔 귀가 불편해요 힘내세요
I have been suffering from Ménière's disease for four years.
In early summer 2021, I suddenly experienced tinnitus, a feeling of fullness, and severe dizziness as if the Earth was spinning, leading to multiple episodes of vomiting. When I visited the ENT clinic, I was told I had Meniere's disease, which I had never heard of before.
In my case, I think overwork and stress might have been the cause, but at the hospital, they said that the cause of Meniere's disease has not been identified, so there is no fundamental cure, only treatments to alleviate the symptoms of Meniere's. They also mentioned that Meniere's is related to immune issues.
It is recommended to stop caffeine such as coffee, alcohol, and reduce salt intake.
After the initial onset of Ménière's disease, even after taking medication, there was no improvement, so I received five steroid injections in my ear.
After taking medication for Meniere's disease for about a year and experiencing no symptoms, the symptoms suddenly reappeared very severely about a year later, and I was taken to the emergency room.
I couldn't find a suitable hospital for my move, so I visited several hospitals, but the medication was ineffective, and I struggled. However, the medication prescribed at a hospital in Myeonmok-dong, introduced by an acquaintance, suited me well, and recently I have been managing my condition with medication.

However, I always experience ringing and a feeling of fullness, which also reduces my hearing, and I never know when this will turn into dizziness, so I am constantly tense, making it hard to work and difficult to concentrate...
So, I decided to resign within a few days to take care of my health by eating properly and boosting my immunity.
I hope you take care of yourself while resting, eat well, exercise, and include things that boost your immunity, so that your mind can feel more at ease.
I hope everyone reading this finds my illness experience helpful, and I wish you to manage stress and overwork well, take good care of your immune system, and never develop Meniere's disease. Stay healthy.
