I am suffering from side effects after my middle ear infection surgery.
About seven years ago, I had surgery for otitis media due to ear discharge, blood, and hearing loss. In my case, the cause was a habit of constantly putting my hand to my ear. After several years, the skin inside my ear weakened, pus and blood started to come out, and my hearing was affected due to the pus. I was treated at a local ENT clinic, but it didn't improve, so I was advised to go to a large hospital, where I underwent middle ear surgery at a university hospital. The surgery went well, but afterward, I experienced side effects. Every time I swallow saliva, I hear a loud noise in my ear, I developed tinnitus with a ringing sound, and I can also hear a pulsing sound in my ear. When I told the doctor at the hospital, they didn't even seem to listen to me. So, I have been living in this frustrating state ever since. Does anyone else have similar side effects? I am curious about how I might improve.
