Current situation of Meniere's disease
It happened around 7:38 a.m. last Monday morning, and I felt a severe blockage in my left ear.
I had similar symptoms around the first week of July, but fortunately I recovered, so I thought it would pass and decided to endure a little longer and wait.
As time went by, my tinnitus worsened, and I felt dizzy and had difficulty standing up, but I couldn't hear any sound and still heard a ringing noise.
I ran to the hospital along that path about 8 or 9 days later. The doctor told me that conditions like Meniere's disease or hearing loss should have been addressed immediately, but I was too late.
Currently, I am continuously taking medication for Meniere's disease or hearing loss, including stabilizers, anti-inflammatory drugs, blood circulation agents, and medications for dizziness.
It is gradually getting better now.
The dizziness, which is a typical symptom of Ménière's disease, has almost subsided. I can almost hear sounds. The tinnitus has only a slight ringing remaining.
Recently, onion juice has been said to be good for Ménière's disease, hearing loss, and other conditions, so I have been boiling and eating onions.
I used to think about health indifferently, but now that I realize that losing hearing due to a disease like Ménière's, which I once took for granted, is no longer a given, I have become more cautious. Of course, excessive worry can be harmful, but I have come to think that paying a little more attention to what I eat, not overdoing it, and maintaining a healthy body through moderate exercise are also important for me.
If you are currently suffering from hearing loss, Meniere's disease, or similar conditions, please view this as an opportunity to reflect on your health and make yourself healthier. Do not lose hope, and while taking good care of yourself and waiting patiently, things will get better. Do not obsess too much over your ears and try to live calmly as if nothing is wrong. I am also in the middle of this situation, but I am grateful for how much I have improved. I also believe that things will get better.
Thank you for reading my review of Ménière's disease. Stay healthy always^^
