I have a memory of being truly surprised by sudden deafness.

I really remember being shocked by sudden deafness, and I still don't know the reason.

It was about two years ago, during a phone call, when suddenly I couldn't hear the other person's voice.

However, I was surprised and worried because I went to the hospital and was told there was no particular reason.

While I was on the call, I suddenly couldn't hear the other person's voice, and even after telling them to speak several times, I still couldn't hear them, so I thought the phone might be malfunctioning and hung up. When I called again, the same thing happened.

The moment I realized it wasn't the phone's problem but my ear's, I unconsciously sank down.

No matter how much I talk or tap my ear, I really can't hear anything; it felt distant.

I went directly to the neighborhood hospital, but they told me to go to a larger hospital because it's sudden deafness.

Went directly to a large hospital, and since sudden deafness is a race against time, I immediately registered and received treatment.

Thank you for your understanding.

I have undergone various tests, and I was advised to be hospitalized for about a week for treatment.

I couldn't hear anything for a few days, so I was really going crazy.

The problem is that the sudden hearing loss test results showed no abnormalities, and I was told a shocking fact that if I don't return within a week, I might completely lose my hearing.

I truly realized what it means when people say the sky is falling that day.

I just stayed hospitalized, ate well, and rested well.

Actually, before sudden hearing loss occurs, I was extremely busy with household chores.

I was in a state of stress.

I'm not sure if it can directly manifest in the body like this, but since there are no abnormalities in the tests, I can only think of stress.

Fortunately, I woke up on the fifth day, and suddenly I could hear, as if there were no law against dying.

Sudden deafness, whether it's normal or not, used to happen without reason when I couldn't hear, and now that I can hear without reason, I feel relieved, but also very exhausted and somewhat incredulous.

I'm glad you're back, but I was actually afraid that sudden hearing loss might recur again without any reason.

Having experienced it, I realized that the fear was greater than I had expected.

Fortunately, there have been no recurrences since then, so I am taking good care of my health regularly.

I am making a lot of effort to avoid the root cause of all illnesses, stress, and I am taking better care of my health.

I also exercise regularly. Sudden hearing loss is a disease I don't want to experience again.
