Since childhood, I had a habit of frequently picking my ears, so I often visited the ENT clinic and received treatment for mild otitis media.
I received it. As the doctor advised, it's best not to touch the ears as much as possible when getting older, except when water gets in.
I usually don't touch my ears even if they itch. However, I feel pain inside my ears when I catch a cold or on very cold winter days.
They say I have otitis media when I go to the hospital. When I wash my hair, water gets into my ear, and I try to wipe it out with a cotton swab, but then my ear itches again.
It becomes uncomfortable and painful, so I end up going to the hospital. Is there a tendency to frequently get middle ear infections? Or is it that once you get it, your ear is affected from that point on?
Is it becoming vulnerable and recurring... Is there anyone who frequently visits the ENT clinic due to otitis media?
I keep going to the hospital diligently and taking my medication properly until I get better, but I don't understand why it keeps happening repeatedly.
